While sailing from Grenada to Bonaire we once again found out how important it is to use the proper fishing hooks and lures. First of all, a few years ago we almost entirely switched from single to double hooks and our success rate of catching the fish that bit increased 100%.

Christmas in Kuna Yala (San Blas)

Christmas always begins Christmas Eve doesn’t it? It did for us. Our friends on Sunrise had arrived in Kuna Yala before the American Thanksgiving and were hoping to cook the 16 lb. turkey they’d bought in Cartagena for us but we were still in the ABC's, so they saved it for Christmas.

A Perfectly Imperfect Day: A Feast for the Senses

The other day started out the same as every other since our arrival in Kuna Yala (San Blas Islands), overcast and rainy. While eating scrumptious home made English Muffins for breakfast, Suzanne from Nauti Bear announced over the VHF radio that there would be a yoga class on BBQ Island at 11 am.
